We are excited to announce that Calendrz now supports Sign in with Apple. If you prefer using your Apple ID to log in to services, you can now use it to access your Calendrz account — joining Google and Microsoft as a supported sign-in option.
How It Works
Signing in with Apple works just like you would expect. On the Calendrz login page, you will see a new “Continue with Apple” button alongside the existing Google and Microsoft options. Click it, authenticate with your Apple ID (including Face ID, Touch ID, or your password), and you are in.
If you are creating a new Calendrz account, you can choose Apple as your sign-in method from the start. If you already have a Calendrz account, you can add your Apple ID as an additional sign-in method from your profile settings.
An Important Detail: Apple and Calendars
There is one thing worth understanding about how Apple Sign-In differs from Google and Microsoft in the context of Calendrz. Apple does not provide a calendar API that web applications can use, which means that while your Apple ID gets you into Calendrz, it cannot be used to sync or mirror your calendars.
To take advantage of Calendrz’s availability mirroring — the core feature that auto-blocks your busy time across all your calendars — you will still need to connect at least one Google or Microsoft calendar account. Think of Apple Sign-In as your front door key to Calendrz, while Google and Microsoft accounts are what power the calendar mirroring engine behind the scenes.
Before you sign up with Apple, Calendrz will clearly explain this distinction so there are no surprises. You will be prompted to connect a calendar account right after signing in, making the setup process smooth and straightforward.
Apple Accounts Do Not Count Toward Your Quota
Since Apple accounts are purely for authentication and do not involve calendar syncing, they do not count toward your connected accounts quota. Your tier’s account limit applies only to calendar-capable accounts (Google and Microsoft). Adding Apple as a sign-in method is completely free and has no impact on your plan limits.
For example, if your plan allows 3 connected accounts, you can have 3 Google or Microsoft calendar accounts plus your Apple sign-in — all without hitting your limit.
A Clearer Status Panel
Along with Apple Sign-In support, we have updated the status panel in your Calendrz dashboard. It now clearly separates two concepts:
- Calendar accounts — the Google and Microsoft accounts that sync your calendars and count toward your tier quota
- Sign-in methods — all the providers you use to authenticate (including Apple), shown separately so you always know what counts and what does not
This makes it easier to understand your account setup at a glance, especially if you use multiple providers.
Nothing Changes for Existing Users
If you are already signed in with Google or Microsoft, nothing changes for you. Your existing sign-in flow, calendar connections, and mirroring setup all work exactly the same way. Apple Sign-In is an additional option, not a replacement.
You can, of course, add Apple as a sign-in method to your existing account if you would like the flexibility of logging in with your Apple ID in the future.
Give It a Try
Apple Sign-In is available now. Head over to app.calendrz.com and look for the “Continue with Apple” button on the login page. If you are setting up a new account or adding Apple to an existing one, the process takes just a few seconds.
